becoming an implement of honor

Becoming An Implement For Honor
Part Three
The second objective applies to those who have been born-again.  This objective is to inhibit the production of divine good (1) that God desires to produce through every born-again believer, in the capacity of an advancing disciple.
Many born-again believers are “religious,” relatively well-behaved, and produce a lot of human good, but choose to be “useless” to the Master when it comes to the production of divine good, by participating in the Great Commission.
DIVINE GOOD is in view when SOULS are being saved, and or when saved souls are being edified.
The devil is not opposed to the production of human good, as it contributes to making his world (2) a better place to live, for as long as it lasts.
Confrontation with devil begins when divine good is part of the programs producing human good. Providing medical attention, feeding, sheltering the needy, improving the quality of other people’s earthly life, are classic examples of the production of human good, but such things do nothing, in of themselves, to evangelize or edify the soul.
Both believers and unbelievers alike produce human good every day, at home, work, school, and play.  Human good is the means through which most Christians and unbeliever’s alike make a living, supporting themselves and their dependents, while contributing in some way to the well-being of others, as well.
Human good has its own earthly rewards and compensation, for both the believer and the Christian that produces it.
However, such rewards and compensation for the production of human good are ALL left behind when the soul departs, and are given NO consideration for the type of reward or privileges addressed in 1Cor. 3: 12-15, Rev. 2, Rev. 3.  These rewards and privileges are reserved for the born-again believers who were involved in the Great Commission, while on Earth.
Here in the Church Age, divine good is produced by God, through Spirit-filled, born-again believers, that He has commissioned (3) for that purpose.
The  keys  (the unadulterated Gospel Message) to the kingdom  that were  given to Peter (4) are the same keys that were given to all of the Apostles (5), and are given to EACH born-again believer of the Church Age. They were given to His followers to present them to OTHERS, so that all who believe may enter, as well.
What one does with the keys that one has been given, I believe, has a lot to do with the Lord saying, “Well done…(Matt. 25: 23 NASB2020),” when He calls him or her home.
. . .
The Rule of Thumb, when distinguishing human good from divine good, is that both unbelievers and believers can produce human good, but only Spirit-indwelled (6) and enabled (7) born-again believers will produce divine good, as the evangelize and or edify other souls.
There is nothing wrong with producing human good that has value here on Earth, but it must not be confused with the production of divine good.
Christians can often do both simultaneously, evangelizing or edifying a soul while he or she is feeding, clothing, or sheltering, etc., the same soul.  The human good (food, shelter, clothing) has earthly value, the divine good has eternal value.
Apart from God’s involvement, divine good will not be produced (8) John 15: 5).
The part that an advancing disciple plays in the evangelization and edification of  OTHERS is to communicate the unadulterated Gospel Message to unbelievers, and to share accurate Bible Doctrine with fellow believers.
But like a runner in a torch-relay race, one cannot pass along anything to others something that that he or she has not first taken possession of for himself or herself.
No one appreciates being labeled “useless,” but sad to say, this is where many born-again, Heaven-bound, believers presently are, in their post salvation spiritual life, lacking the knowledge of an edified soul structure and or the unwillingness to present it to others.
The eternal security of the born-again believer (9) is not dependent on his or her performance as a disciple, but one’s performance as a disciple does determine HOW  he or she will experience Heaven.  That being with, or without, the reward and privileges that are reserved for advancing disciples.
WHERE, every born-again soul will experience eternity future was permanently settled the moment he or she first believed (10), when presented with the unadulterated Gospel Message. But the post salvation spiritual life is not all about you.  It calls for YOU to participate in the salvation of unbelievers and edification of fellow believers in your personal periphery.
